Additional e-Bike Legislation Got Scuttled

Our June 6 issue of the Newsletter covered the proposed Florida legislation for e-bikes. The bill passed unanimously in both the Florida House and Senate.

However, when it got to the governor’s desk, he vetoed it. Here’s a link to a news story in Jacksonville Today that explains why the governor vetoed the bill.

So, where do things stand.

Here is an update from the Florida Bicycle Association. They provide some good tips when riding an e-bike. Safety and courtesy remain the paramount issues.
