This is part of an ongoing series highlighting “destination trails”.  This post highlights five trails in Sarasota County including paves, gravel, MTB and bike lanes along barrier islands.

As there are destination wedding venues that people want their family and friends to enjoy.  This series about destination trails from “The ibis Flyer” are those trails that rise to the level of being worth traveling to for the cycling experience.  Most are in Florida; some in nearby states.

Florida’s Sarasota County on the gulf coast has several destination trails. The journey begins in Sarasota in the north and moves south to Venice.
