Currently, Florida has at least eleven cycling events happening in November. They are spread across the state. Here are three that we want to highlight. Below is a link to the full list of road, trail, MTB and triathlon events.
In Southern Florida
Naples is the host site of the 22nd annual Iron Joe Turkey Ride the Sunday before Thanksgiving, November 22, 2026.
Maps for the 10, 20, 40 and 62 mile routes can be found on the Iron Joe website. They roll through low traffic neighborhoods, with many offering bike lanes and multi-use trails.
For those who want to make it a weekend in the Naples area, there are some good trails to explore, the beach area to enjoy, shopping and great restaurants and eateries. A nice warmup ride is the newly completed 7-mile Paradise Coast Trail in Naples. Komoot has a listing of other cycling routes in Collier County.
Other notable cycling events in November
Don’t let the name scare you away. The Horrible Hundred offers 35, 70 and 100 mile routes through hilly, picturesque countryside. It’s a two-day cycling and fitness expo in Clermont, FL put on by the Florida Freewheelers cycling club.
For mountain bike enthusiasts
There is the Buddy the Bull Stampede taking place on Eirene Ranch near Arcadia, FL, November 7, 2026. Sounds like a great event to get dusty and dirty. But don’t worry, you won’t be riding with the bulls.
Be sure to take a look at all of the cycling events remaining in October, and the full list of events in November, as well as a growing list of events in 2027. You can check them all out on our companion website Florida Cycling.
We hope you are enjoying these cooler Florida temperatures on your rides.
As always, ride often. Be safe.
Bruce
