We are now…

After doing all of the above and some fairly intensive market research and testing, we are launching our new name and brand across our two platforms – this eNewsletter and our website (FloridaCycling.us) formerly ibisrides.com.
Why change our name? The name Florida Cycling resonated quickly in the minds of cyclists, where “The ibis Flyer” and ibisrides.com didn’t.
Our new name communicates our geographic and audience focus. However, we kept our ibis mascots! People said they love them, keep them.
We’re still the same team, more committed than ever to be the primary go-to source for Florida cyclists to stay current on:
upcoming cycling events
some great trails and routes
special cycling rides happening across the state
cycling clubs across Florida
news and information to inspire and inform
some light-hearted perspectives to make you smile
conditions in the Florida cycling ecosystem
ideas to break up your routine rides and prevent boredom
suggestions and experiences from other cyclists as they post comments
As mentioned, this eNewsletter, is bolstered by our companion website FloridaCycling.us. While the “dot.us” stands for United States, it also means “us” – those of us who make up the Florida cycling community.
Whether you are on two wheels, three wheels, on a road bike, mountain bike, gravel bike, or an e-bike, you are “us”. Whatever your pace and preferred distance you are “us”.
